The National Day on Writing is coming up on October 20. This is an annual event to recognize and celebrate writing in all its forms. As a website about technical and professional writing, we wanted to add our voice to celebrate how we write.
This year, we wanted to ask you what tool, markup, app, or editor do you like to use for writing?
For example, maybe you like to write articles in markdown or ASCIIdoc because the minimal markup lets you focus on content and not the formatting to get there. Maybe you just really like using a specific editor or word processor because it makes it so easy to write with. Maybe you love writing in HTML and CSS because of the powerful and flexible formatting. Maybe you have a favorite keyboard or laptop or NUC that you use for writing. Or maybe your first markup was LaTeX or groff and it brings you joy to write content with that.
