Support our community with these print books
Our community shares their perspectives in three new print books, available now.
We started our open community at Technically We Write in 2023. Since then, we’ve published a variety of your articles, sharing your tips, how-tos, and best practices about the industry. We would not be here without you.
In December, we collected the most popular articles from the last few years into free ebooks. This was our way to say "thank you" to the community, and to recognize everyone for their contributions. We shared the ebooks with you at the end of the year, with a note that the print editions were coming soon.
We are proud to announce these print books are now available, via our publishing partner at Lulu. The books are available under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license, the same as all of our content on the website, because these are your contributions. We hope you like them!
Open Leaders Yearbook is about leadership, specifically Open Leadership, through the perspective of several contributors to our other website, Coaching Buttons, published between 2024 and 2025. These articles explore what it means to be an effective Open Leader, and how to build an open organization, foster your employees’ growth, and improve process adaptability. Thanks to Jos Groen, Jimmy Sjölund, Ron McFarland, Laura Hilliger, Daniela Arellano, Chris Hermansen, Jason Hibbets, and Melanie Barham for sharing their expertise with us. Edited by Blythe Williams.
